Alejandro Gutiérrez ("we", "us", or "our"), operating under the name Gnpd, is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Spanish law.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary:

  • Email address — provided by you at the time of purchase, processed by our payment and licensing provider Lemon Squeezy.
  • License key — generated and issued by Lemon Squeezy upon purchase, sent to your email address.
  • License validation request — when you first activate HSP Desktop, the software sends your license key to Lemon Squeezy's servers for a one-time validation check. After activation, the software works fully offline and makes no further data connections.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • License activation — to verify that your copy of HSP Desktop is genuine (legal basis: contract performance, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Product update notifications — we may email you about significant updates or new versions of HSP Desktop. You can opt out at any time by replying to any such email (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Third-Party Processors

We use the following third-party service to process payments and manage licenses:

  • Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com) — acts as the Merchant of Record, handles payment processing, and generates and delivers license keys. Their privacy policy governs the data they collect during checkout.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as your license is active or until you request deletion. License transaction records held by Lemon Squeezy are subject to their own retention policy.

6. Cookies & Tracking

HSP Desktop (the application) does not use cookies or collect usage analytics. This website (g-npd.com) uses Vercel Analytics for anonymous page-view statistics only; no personal data or cookies are used.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active license holders. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
